We flew into Seattle, picked up supplies I had preordered at the Spanaway WalMart and then drove to the Trail of Shadows for a very short, but rewarding hike. Getting to the cabin and going inside just felt so apropos to the whole vibe of our trip. We cooked a great dinner, planned out our next day, the young adults hopped in the hot tub, we seniors hopped in bed, and woke up early to hit the Skyline Loop Trail the next day. Absolutely fabulous.
Everything worked for us but definitely caution on the steps from parking to the deck. Loose handles and a shaky stair tread.
