Feriehus i Talvik med badstue og jacuzzi

Our stay at Kjell and Tanjas Feriehus in Talvik was absolutely wonderful and deeply relaxing. The house is located in a peaceful and quiet setting with breathtaking views of the mountains and the lake. Our absolute favorite spot was the armchairs in front of the large windows. We could have(and actually did it) sat there for hours simply enjoying the scenery. One aspect that truly impressed us was the thoughtful sustainability throughout the house. The kitchen includes a basic stock of spices, flour, oil, tea and other essentials so you don’t have to buy everything from scratch. We found this incredibly eco-friendly and considerate. The same mindset applies to the bathrooms, where left products stay for following guests to use up. The house is exceptionally well equipped: plenty of dishes, dishwasher, oven, cutlery, pots and pans, versatile cooking utensils and even a huge refrigerator, it is perfect if you enjoy cooking. Everything was spotless and of very high quality. The jacuzzi was another highlight, especially under the starry sky and with a great view at the aurora lights, it's simply magical and always perfectly tempered. The sauna adds even more comfort and relaxation. The house is beautifully warm at all times thanks to the underfloor heating, the beds are very cozy and the high ceilings in the living room create a wonderfully spacious atmosphere. We also felt genuinely well looked after. Kjell always responded quickly to messages, answered all our questions and even helped us with questions that did not concern the accommodation. He truly goes far beyond what you would expect from good service — his care and support made our stay even more special. We enjoyed every single aspect of our stay and would return anytime. A clear recommendation for anyone looking to combine comfort, nature, and sustainability in the most beautiful way.

The location was great, out of any built up area. The hot tub had a view directly down through the valley, each night the cloud cleared in the valley and the northern lights began their dance. The property was well heated, had all amenities needed. There were a few lakes nearby to which we were able to ice fish, the larger lake you are able to walk across but not ice fish due to restrictions. As a marine biologist I understand why restrictions are in place, to which visitors should respect. All in all, it is a beautiful location with friendly contactable hosts. A place I would thoroughly enjoy spending the entire winter!

Wir verbrachten in diesem perfekt ausgestatteten Ferienhaus 8 wundervolle und unvergessliche Tage. Der Gastgeber war für uns erreichbar, obwohl er gerade selbst im Urlaub war. Die Lage des Hauses war ideal zum beobachten der Polarlichter. Das Tüpfelchen auf dem i waren die Nordlichter beim Bad im Jacuzzi. Die Sauna wärmte uns , wenn es draußen dochmal sehr kalt wurde. Gerne empfehlen wir dieses Haus u. seinen Gastgeber.
