Skokholm Apartment - 3 Bedroom Apartment - Tenby

Loved the location

It took us an hour to get into the property. I didn’t receive an email or an update on booking.com despite calling earlier in the day to check. The property agent said they would send me the link via txt and email again but still didn’t receive. Check in was 5pm but their offices had closed and finally got through to an emergency phone number. They kept giving me the code for the door inside the building and they should have been giving me the code for the outside door. This went round in circles for about half hour resetting the code (for what we now know is the inside front door) I had no 4 digit code on email for the outside door. Eventually the lady on the phone said are you sure you are looking at an electronic pin pad on a door handle. I said no we are at the front main door. She then said oh you should have another 4 PIN code for that one already. I already told them I had received nothing. When we got in the pin pad for the door was still not letting us in. It was the most confusing process. We finally got in at 6pm. An hour after turning up at the property with two exhausted 70 year old parents and two young children. The communication needs to be much better and emails need to be sent out as well As text messages.

The patio area to sit out on wasn’t very pleasant no chairs or table to sit at plus the area was dirty, the communal area was also quite dirty hadn’t been cleaned for a long time!

Location was very central to everything. Apartment was modern and exceptionally clean with an ample supply of towels and extras to ensure a comfortable stay for all regardless of age. There were lovely welcoming touches including Welsh cakes, milk, a bottle of Prosecco and a folder of information.

The town was very busy this weekend and sounds could be heard from the front bedroom. However, these sounds depleted by midnight until deliveries from 6am. Parking in the town is limited but there was parking available with the apartment in the nearby long stay car park. Traffic warden operated all weekend.

Excellent location, close to the beach, perfect for the dog who had the time of his life. Shops and pubs are just located as you leave the apartment.
