I had a great stay at the apartment. Price performance ratio is excellent! Hiro is a kind and helpful host. He replied very quick and with great diligence. The apartment is small, but felt like home and you still got everything you need. I really liked the location far from the hustle and bustle and in the side streets. I think its worth it travelling a bit further for the peaceful neighborhood you get. Convenience stores are 5-10 min. away and two train stations are each 10 min. away. I enjoyed my daily walks there! I would recommend staying here if you dont need luxury, but a cozy little place for a great price and dont mind to travel a little longer into the city.
It was a bit inconvenient that the walls are so thin and you have to keep quiet from 8 pm. Some days I was struggling with washing my clothes and blow drying my hair because of this rule, but it was managable. Overall the apartment was neat and clean, I think it would be a good choice to switch the shower curtain for a new one and dust the AC proberly.

Very clean room, it’s small but okay for 1/2 people. It’s in a quiet area and near to laundry place and near to train station about 10 minutes away. Showers okay and ac/heater is good also. Bed is a little on the stiff side but okay for me.
There is no sound proofing in the property so you can hear neighbours walking around at night sometimes and can always hear when they flush toilet, the door to the property hasn’t got proper seals on it so can hear outside noises very clearly but if your a deep sleeper don’t worry.

I stayed at this property for more than two weeks, and it exceeded my expectations. 1. The room is slightly larger than I expected. Having stayed in Tokyo before, I was prepared for an extremely small space. However, the room was a reasonable and comfortable size for 1 person, which I really appreciated. For 2 people, it may feel cramped. 2. The room is stylishly furnished. It is not luxurious, but it is clear that thought and care were put into the design and setup. 3. Hiro is a great host. He is proactive in providing information, especially about garbage sorting and disposal schedules. I originally expected to manage everything completely on my own, but Hiro also informed me that cleaning staff can occasionally help collect properly sorted garbage if you miss the disposal time. That said, you should still sort and dispose of garbage correctly and on schedule. 4. the room is well stocked with supplies that can be refilled by me as needed, so there is no need to ask the host frequently. The washing machine is a great addition for longer stays, and laundry supplies are also provided.
Personal notes for guests: — This is not a hotel (such as APA or Dormy Inn), so you need to handle some daily tasks yourselves, especially sorting your garbage and disposing them on time. — Sumida City has strict but manageable garbage sorting rules. You should be prepared to learn how to read Japanese material labels and look up Sumida City’s garbage rules. — There is no clothes dryer, so laundry must be hang dried using the outdoor clothesline. For longer stays, prepare a portable travel clothesline may be useful. — The location is halfway between the Yahiro station and Kanegafuchi station. You will need to walk for 10 minutes to either station. — There is still not enough room for a lot of luggages, so make sure you packed reasonably light. Suggestions for improvement: — The kitchenette has plates and cookware, but no bowls. Adding a 茶碗 or 汁椀 would be very very helpful. — Many travelers no longer use suitcase racks. So I suggest removing the wooden suitcase rack to have more space. — Suitcase wheels can easily leave marks on the floor near the entrance. A floor protector in that area would help prevent future damage. — Some more extra clothespins for hanging clothes would be helpful. — There is no iron or ironing board, so a small one would be useful. — On Booking.com There are few photos of the room itself. Adding more room photos would help guests know what to expect.
