Mayfer Best Apartment

Immaculately clean! Fantastic location.

Very slight smell of damp, but it’s a basement flat so got to be expected. A little welcome pack like teabags, coffee and milk would have been nice as the nearest shop was a bit of a trek but didn’t spoil our stay!

Outstanding location.

The bathroom with the shower smelt so bad of blocked drains we were unable to use it. The shower tray needs replacing and is badly cracked. Clearly blocked too. There is an issue that needs addressing but an easy fix if the owners addressed it. I would return as the location is in a fantastic position but nite it’s a basement flat so little light and steep stairs down to the flat. Very basic kitchen equipment.

We were not told about the stairs and that it was a basement apartment. If we had had elderly or people with any disability it would have been difficult to access. Lifting our cases down was extremely difficult. The entry on the first day was poor. We had to call the owner abroad and send our passport before being given a lockbox number to get the key. Then it was not clear where the box was. It took us 25 mins to enter the property and 3 international calls.

Nothing except the location.

The apartment at the basement, bad unhealthy smell, blockage in the toilet which cause a bad unpleasant smell( when you flush the toilet the water comes from the bath tub drain). Tried to leave after the first day but the owner refused to return the rest of the payment. ( The owner suggested to use the other bathroom!!! ) over all it was my worest experience in London.
