Riverside Retreat

Spacious apartment with a great balcony and a very well stocked pantry. They provided a a great range of body wash, shampoo and conditioner as well as a few extra treats. Great location with a big shopping centre across the road and a tram stop right out the front. Nick was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend

Nothing, it was great

The apartment was outstanding at first glace and clean. The lounge was huge and the bedrooms were very spacious. Absolutely loved it, great location for trams and shopping.

N/A

Clean with comfortable beds and good heating. Lots of different teas and a great coffee machine.

Nothing

What we liked: Our stay at Riverside Retreat was very enjoyable overall. The unit was clean throughout and the location is excellent — very close to the tram line, shopping centre, and plenty of cafes. The complex itself has great amenities, including a pool, sauna and gym. One of the highlights for me was having access to the Main Yarra Trail just behind the complex — perfect for a beautiful run or walk. Nick was a fantastic host — super helpful and a great communicator, which made the stay even smoother. Could have been better: There is only one air conditioner in the living area. On hot days, the bedrooms can get quite warm and tend to stay warm overnight.

The main drawback was the parking. I wouldn’t recommend it for guests planning to drive frequently in and out, as the parking charges apply on each entry (hourly rates plus a $5 overnight charge).
