So close to the beach! The air conditioning worked really well. Loved all the birds in the morning. The hosts are really nice and kind. The living areas were great - we weren't cramped at all and loved hanging out in the inbetween times.
It was difficult to find. We had to ask someone at the hotel to call them. If you have local calling capabilities, you will be fine. It would have been great if there were some numbers on the house or a sign or something. Lots of loud dogs and motorcycles. If you like an active beach vibe, it's totally fine. We were tired enough that we fell asleep immediately, so there was no problem.

Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage hat uns den Aufenthalt erträglich gemacht. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit unsere Sachen zu waschen. Puntarenas ist ein traditioneller Tico-Ort, 1-2 Nächte reichen für den Aufenthalt aus.
Die Kommunikation war nicht gut. Wir hatten mit Waze und Google Probleme das Haus zu finden. Bei einem Anruf wurde kurz mit uns gesprochen und dann wurde aufgelegt. Das war für uns kein schönes Ankommen. Empfangen wurden wir von der Mutter des Besitzers, sie sprach nur spanisch. Bei Nachfrage wo die Hängematte sei, sagte sie diese ist kaputt und damit war das Thema erledigt. Schade, denn die Kinder hätten sie gern genutzt!

Big apartment, very good (and needed) ACs, flexible host
Water pressure was laughably small: only cold drip water for shower, washing machine took a day to work, thin curtains (was woken up by sunlight) and many bugs
