The apartment is generally very nice – well located, well decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

However, our experience was affected by poor communication regarding early check-in. I asked in advance and was told it would be confirmed later, but never received a clear answer. The day before arrival I only received self check-in instructions, so I assumed early check-in might be possible. On arrival, we were told the apartment was not ready yet and that we would be informed if early check-in could be possible. Due to poor internet connection, we could not rely on messages, so at 2 PM we tried again to enter, assuming the apartment would likely be ready by then since official check-in is at 3 PM. The apartment was indeed ready, but we were again reminded that check-in is strictly at 3 PM. What stood out most was not the policy itself – which we fully respect – but the inconsistency and lack of clear communication. A simple, clear “no early check-in available” would have allowed us to plan our time accordingly, instead of uncertainty and repeated back-and-forth messages. The overall interaction felt quite rigid and impersonal, which gave the impression of a very business-driven approach rather than a guest-oriented one. In addition, the attic space felt quite claustrophobic, which affected comfort during the stay. Overall, the apartment itself is good, but communication and the overall guest approach significantly affected the experience.

L'accès à l'appartement! Avec des valises, c'est tout simplement insupportable. Escalier extremement étroit et les ruelles pour y accéder difficilement balisées
