Montsant Wine House with Mountain Views

Nice place and the host was kind and gave us welcome gifts and recommendations. I would definitelt return, the town was also very pretty.

La tasa turística que pagamos fue casi el doble de lo que Booking nos aplicó cuando hice la reserva , pagamos dos euros por noche por adulto la considero muy alta para la zona y el tipo de alojamiento.

It’s a big house, right in front of the mountains. Excellent location, perfect for hiking families like mine, but also perfect for relaxing. The town is small and cozy and it was a new experience for the family. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, the staff were very polite and accommodating with any questions we had, and we feel that if we ever find ourselves visiting the Priorat area again, this home would be on our list.

The pueblo is fantastic, with amazing hiking out the door, enough to last several days. Very quiet and peaceful house. Host was very friendly and responsive; allowed us to check-in much earlier. This is someone’s home so there is plenty of everything (e.g., linens, house cleaning supplies).

The home was cluttered and somewhat dirty (e.g., stored dishes not completely clean). When we arrived in late April, there were still Christmas decorations everywhere, including dried-up pine boughs above the fireplace. There was a large play structure in the living room that, while maybe good if kids are among the guests, detracted substantially from what otherwise would be a nice living room and dining area. Roof-top deck is off a bedroom and very small; we found it essentially unusable. Expensive compared to other houses of similar size and quality in the Cornudella area. This home could be a great short term rental for large groups with much more attentive care.
