Great location and decor

No hot water

The apartment was beautiful and the interior was decorated beautifully which on first arrival gave the place a very luxurious feel. The location was also great and the communication with the host was very good upon arrival.

Unfortunately the apartment was very very cold and there was only one immediate heating source which was in the bedroom and it did not warm the bedroom well at all, let alone the whole apartment, which made our stay very uncomfortable. There are fireplaces but no wood is provided and with only a short stay it didn't make sense to go and look for somewhere that sells it etc. There was also very very little hot water, not enough for 2 people to take showers straight after each other and when the water had heated up it was essential that your shower was very fast which was a shame as the bathroom was beautiful but it felt like a waste as it couldn't be enjoyed. On the first night after a long day outside we were looking forward to a shower to make our sleep comfortable but this was not possible and we had to take cold showers. Another disappointment was that the apartment was advertised as having a 'Stovetop' which it didn't meaning we couldn't cook in the apartment and had to spend money eating out, which for us defeats the object of booking an apartment, we probably would have preferred a hotel if we'd have known. Also the kitchen wasn't well equipped with bowls etc. so it was difficult to have cereal etc. It really was a shame as when we arrived we were thrilled with the appearance of the place and with slight tweaks it will be a brilliant place to stay but the temperature just makes it possible to fully enjoy in my opinion especially as we could not utilize the stunning living room either.
