Guesthouse Széllak

Everything was excellent. The cabin is beautiful, very clean, comfortable and well equipped, in a peaceful location close to Lake Zetea. The location is perfect for exploring the area: it is very close to the kayak rental center, about 25 minutes from the Vărșag bobsleigh track, and only 10 minutes from the wildlife park, where you can get close to and even pet some of the animals. The hosts were absolutely wonderful – extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. We felt at home from the moment we arrived and really appreciated their hospitality. We would definitely come back!

Nothing – everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations.

The owner was very responsive to our messages, polite and made sure we're having a good stay. The house is decorated in good taste, perfect to accommodate 2-3 couples, the kitchen is fully equipped. The area is peaceful, away from traffic or any kind of disturbance. There's good water pressure and an efficient warming system. For all the good reasons I would definitely come back.

Some house slippers and a few more towels could be useful. Unfortunately the sauna didn't work for us but it was due to bad signal as it can be turned on from a mobile app. Mobile data doesn't work in that area, and wifi connection was unstable too, but that doesn't hurt if you want to disconnect yourself for a few days. Generally what we missed were details that can be fixed.
