Central stay in cosy apartment

Location near harbour and centre great, flat warm and comfy. Kitchen had most of things to get by. Car park is great, good directions to property.

Bathroom was a bit odd with the light switches, towels rather small and some tiles broken. Stairways a bit grotty.

Nicely decorated apartment in dodgy area with difficult check in

The apartment was exactly as it looked on the photos. It was decorated nicely, very modern and fairly clean. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. Good price.

The check in instructions were extremely unclear and confusing. They included opening a parking gate to a free parking space with a parking remote fob obtained from a key box, but the parking remote fob was completely broken when we found it inside the key box. The plastic casing was open, the circuit board inside completely loose, and the buttons removed. It had clearly been broken for some time because there was loads of old tape on it. This meant we could not access the allocated parking space at all. When I messaged the host about this they said the parking remote fob was in perfect condition the day before but this was clearly a lie as it had lots of old cellotape on it and it was completely broken. The area seemed very dodgy and I would not recommend staying there with kids or if you are not street smart. It did not seem particularly safe. Inside the communal hallway of the apartment building it smelt of urine and the stairs and floor were wet and dirty. Outside the front door to the apartment building there was blood on the floor. Once we were inside the apartment it was perfectly modern and clean and very nicely decorated, but the check in was long, confusing, and a bit scary to be honest. The beds were not very comfortable but ok for a one night stay. Double bed is a very squeaky camp bed.

Perfect for a short stay in Dunkirk

The flat is nicely decorated. Good size for a large family or group of friends. Secured free parking on site is a big plus. Location is very centric Shower/ water pressure was good. I'd stay here again.

The building doesn't look inviting but the flat is very nice. No lift and narrow stair cases. The instructions for the entrance and car park is not clear. I thought I need to park to somewhere else but actually, you park in the property's car park. It is really easy to get in. Directions from the owner suggests that you enter the property from the upper street, take the key and the carpark fob, then drive back to another road to enter the car park. I advice you to drive directly to the car park, park in front of the gate, go and get the fob, open the parking gate and get it. You need to keep the car in front of the gate for 30-60 seconds and if you are lucky no one will arrive.

Weekend trip with family

Everything was perfect in the property. Host allowed us to check in early. Private car park is available. Just middle of town centre. The church was in walking distance. The apartment is very bright with big windows in all rooms. TV good channels with Internet.

No fan, no air conditioning. Fan could do well. Toilet dint had floor mat/rug.

You get exactly what you pay for. Cheap, convenient, no frills .

Location was excellent. The apartment was acceptable and this was reflected in the price. It had the basics.

The towels were only hand towels. I queried this as there was a bath and shower and we were three adults. I was told they had never had an issue with towel size before. Fortunately we could purchase towels nearby. There was no guest information. I had to ask for the WiFi code and was told it was in “guest information” which didn’t exist.

A little hidden gem

A hidden gem. A pleasant surprise to a tasteful apartment that was very suitable for our family of 4. A great location for our wanderings in the evening. Plenty of restaurants around plus tourist destinations. The marina opposite is lovely. Easy instructions for the owner to access. Stairs no problem for us. But you should be aware.

Nothing to do with the property or owner but beware a lot of dog poo around so watch your step. Not in the apartment building but surrounds.

Great value for money

Very roomy and clean right in the heart of dunkirk

To get in and out the car park you need to key fob so when leaving you have to unlock the gate leave and park the car and then return the key I was alone moving the car and had to run around the building and hope a parking attendant didn't catch my car as no car spaces where available I do not hold this to the host tho as its part of being in a complex

Sijainti on erinomainen, huoneet saa hyvin pimeiksi, kaikki toimii ja on suhteellisen uutta. Ilmainen suojainen parkkipaikka on hyvä lisä. Toimitetut ohjeet olivat hyvät ja selkeät.

Ulko-oven avaaminen avaimenperällä ei ollut heti selvää, siitä voisi olla jokin ohje.

Ausstattung Küche könnte bisschen besser sein. Pfannen hatten auf den Herd nicht funktioniert? Leider ist das Wohnhaus auch von außen nicht sehr sehenswert, aber innen in der Wohnung wirklich in Ordnung.

Prima appartement voor 1 nacht.

Wij hadden dit appartement geboekt omdat wij de volgende ochtend op tijd naar Engeland wilden reizen. Het ligt erg centraal. Alles op loopafstand. Toegang via sleutel code kastje. Je laat jezelf binnen. Eigen parking toegang met electrische sleutel. Appartement van alle gemakken voorzien. Het rook prima. Goed gelucht. Alles aanwezig. Ketels, borden, bestek... handdoeken... Je hoeft niets mee te nemen. Twee slaapkamers. 1 met tweepersoonsbed de ander met twee aparte bedden en een campingbedje. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Ligbad. Toilet apart van de badkamer. Woonkamer met bank. Tv met alle zenders. De eigenaresse was snel te bereiken en reageert meteen. Voor 1 nacht prima.

Buiten het gebouw veel hondenpoep. Vuilnis op straat. Smerige omgeving, ook het trappenhuis. Het vinden van het appartement was even een dingetje.. Verouderde buurt. Het was niet erg schoon in het appartement. Badkamer liet te wensen over. Verkalking op de kranen. Het meeste is ontzettend gedateerd. Het kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Ramen die slecht open gingen en sluiten. Keuken afvoer liep niet af. Licht koelkast stuk. Er was geen welkomst blad of informatie aanwezig. (Er werd alleen via Booking informatie verstrekt)

Séjour agréable et confortable

Emplacement idéal, proche du centre et du port. A quelques minutes à pieds (+-15min) de la plage Facilité pour le stationnement car l'hébergement possède un emplacement privé en extérieur. Appartement propre et très fonctionnel.

Indépendamment des propriétaires, pas d éclairage dans les communs où l hygiène/entretien n'est pas régulier. Une crainte avant d ouvrir la porte du logement mais une fois la porte ouverte quel soulagement de se trouver dans un appartement décoré avec goût, propre et cosy.

Centraal gelegen appartement met een nette, eenvoudige inrichting ideaal voor een stedentrip.

De bedden mogen een iets betere kwaliteit hebben en het water liep slecht af. We hebben deze nog ontstopt. En het vraagt voor wat verdere afwerking/onderhoud. Qua temperatuur was het nu goed. Mogelijk wordt het te warm in het appartement als het veel heter dan 25 graden wordt. Niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn.

Week-end sportif à Dunkerque

Emplacement au top. Face au port et proche de restaurants etc. Appartement spacieux et agréable, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Parking privatif mais sans emplacement réservé.

Ne pas se fier aux apparences car l'extérieur de la résidence laisse à désirer (beaucoup de déjections canines, mégots etc). Le bâtiment et les parties communes sont "dans leur jus". Une remarque sur le cadenas magnétique qui donne accès a la boîte a clés qui doit être changé car difficile à ouvrir et à refermer. Serviettes de toilettes fournies mais petites.

Beau de l'intérieur

Quand on est rentré dans l'appartement, le fait que tout soit propre, tout soit penser pour que le séjour soit du mieux possible, que sa soit en terme d'accessoires et même en terme de positionnement de l'appartement.

Juste la précision au niveau de la localisation de l'appartement ce fut un peu galère jusqu'à réception des indications par la propriétaire.

Ideal pour la situation mais prudence aux mobiliers

Jeune couple avec un enfant, le but premier est de bouger, découvrir et l'appartement est idéalement situé, proche de tout : grandes surfaces - pharmacie - restaurants - boulangeries - endroits pour boire un verre - beffroi - église - transports en commun qui permettent d'aller à la plage en quelques minutes. L'appartement possède une cour extérieure où garer sa voiture. Cela n'engendre pas de coup supplémentaire et cela est sécurisant. La porte d'entrée de l'immeuble est de type blindée et donc sécurisant. Et la porte de l'appartement est équipée d'un verrou.

Cuisine bien équipée et fonctionnelle mais de nombreux défauts, une robinetterie fragile. Concernant les différents meubles, on sent bien leurs fragilités et il faut être très prudent avec eux. Concernant la salle de bain, elle est fonctionnelle mais elle présente des défauts au niveau du carrelage, meuble, le coffrage de la baignoire est mobile. Beaucoup de bruit la nuit.
