The apartment was basic but had everything we needed. I traveled with 2 friends. It was comfortable for 3 of us. What is the best thing about the apartment is the location in the middle of Brera. The street it is on is adorable - during the day. There are lots of cute old streets with nice little shops, cafes and restaurants within 10 minutes walking. There is great shopping street again around the corner. Also the main square with Duomo and all the main things tourists might want to visit in Milan are all 20 minutes walking distance. No need to take taxis anywhere.
The only problem with the apartment is the noise at night. I do not understand why, but this is not mentioned in any of the reviews. In the basement of the house of the apartment is in is a night club Il Patuscino. It opens at 11 at night and goes on until the morning, like 4 a.m. It is very popular and so there is always a big crowd of loud drunk people on the street. The windows of the apartment are right above the entrance. The noise never stopped. Every night. And after closing hours the staff throws away all of the empty bottles so you wake up at 6 to crashing glass sounds. To be fair we still enjoyed our stay. The price for the location and the size of the apartment was good. I think reflecting this little problem. But it would have been nice to know about it before.

The apartment is exactly how it looks in pictures (if not a bit bigger).
The stair case to get up to the apartment is quite narrow and steep, and the lift was out of service - so just be mindful of that. The spiral staircase inside the apartment is beautiful (see photo).
The place was nice and bright & very clean, and located on a lovely street close to restaurants/ bars and 10/15 min walk to the Duomo!
Other than that, a lovely place to stay, and the host is very responsive!

A bit disappointed that only 2 coffee pods were given, since there were two of us staying for 2 nights - especially as one of them broke so we had to share it.
