We love the location and were very comfortable.

The location is perfect. All the cooking appliances you need including a braai.

All the locks can be complicated initially but you get used to it.

Frustrating

The location is great as its above the Eikerstad Mall. The beds, linen and towels were fabulous and the accommodation was clean. The fridge was lovely and big. The property met our expectations, with exception of the comments below.

The appliances were complicated to operate (instructions were in the welcome book, but it was long and tedious to work it all out). There was no washing machine (description didn't say there was though), but, for the price there should have one. There was a voucher to send our laundry to a laundromat, but it was difficult and inconvenient to do this. The parking card did not work and the complex security could not help us to fix it. We had scanned at all 4 points of entry and exit, but it still failed to work. We had to call for help every time we left the complex so that security could open the boom. This was VERY embarrassing and frustrating as drivers behind us hooted and shouted because we held up the queue to exit and complex security was rude and unhelpful. I still do not know where I was meant to tap the card to exit as there were no instructions as to where to do this (even though security came to the boom to test the card and confirmed that it wasnt working). There was no proper instruction of where the parking bay was and I had to stop my car, got out, and walk around to try and find where I was meant to park. The parking was occupied by the owners vehicle who had not pulled in far enough, and as a result parking my SUV was very tight and hair raising to say the least. We have stayed at over 10 different places in Stellenbosch, and I can confidently say that, for the price, it was one of the more expensive bookings for what you get.

Beautiful and clean property

A beautiful property with all the comforts of home. Stunningly decorated French flare. Beds super comfortable with top class linen and towels. Clean and new. Walk to shops and restaurants. Loved the extras, sparkling wine, water bottles, tea and coffee, which was a lovely touch. View was amazing. Would definitely return.

Stairs could be a problem if you had a lot of luggage. Noise from pub on one night.

Penthouse Perfection

Perfectly located in the center of Stellenbosch, close to all amenities and restaurants, and campus buildings (walking distance). The Penthouse is private, safe, and secure, with tons of space and great views. The Towels and Linen were five-star quality. The unit is decorated well with top quality finishes with a fun French feel. Checking in and out is really convenient and automated, so you don't have to wait or be bound by a specific time. The host supplies you with very informative and specific instructions and even a tutoriol video of how to get to the unit and all the information. If you are looking to treat yourself to a great Stellenbosch experience with plenty of space and comfort, I certainly recommend this private Penthouse.
