Limestone Edge by Simple Life Rentals

The location of this house is perfect for a group with different needs. We were close enough to drive to all towns if we wanted, or walk around Bailey’s Harbor. We were concerned being close to the winery and main road would be noisy, but it wasn’t at all! It’s a quiet town, which we loved. We loved the fire pit as well. Lots of comfortable seating for a big group- we used it every night! Sitting outside in the evenings and looking out over the lake was definitely a highlight! There were lots of extra blankets, pillows, etc. The house was very well stocked! We were also concerned street parking would be an issue because we had 4 cars, but using the lot next door was great! We never had a problem.

While there was plenty of space and a fully stocked kitchen, the home was not as clean as it could have been. It felt like it had been cleaned weeks ago, so dead bugs started accumulating. There were spider webs in the corners and dead bugs in window sills. The bugs didn’t bother most of the people in our group, but for the amount we were paying, it felt like more attention could have been given to the home. The house also didn’t provide any outdoor games like corn hole or any water toys. We would have liked to paddle board off the dock.
