Home away from Home

Cleanliness and quick problem solving by the owner.

Shower was good. Coffee was appreciated

Wall A/C and fan did not work

Clean and private entrance

Refrigerator not plugged in.

Communication ahead of our stay was appreciated with the code to get in and parking instructions. The neighborhood is quant and we were in walking distance (about 10 mins) to a cafe. The neighborhood was fairly quiet.

You can tell this space is surface cleaned and that's about it. Dust build up on the baseboards and in cracks. The rust on the shower bar. There was just a clear plastic shower lining with no shower curtain. We saw ants in the entrance indoors moving into the carpet. There are also little things...like the coffee/tea selection dismissal, internet code written on a ripped piece of paper. All these things add up to give an impression the host doesn't really care...or cares enough to make money but maybe not enough leave a lasting impression that makes a person come back. This is a bare necessities experience, nothing to make the experience anything more than that. The photos make it look cute and cozy, but I think the space needs a good cleaning and some tweaks to enhance the experience for folks staying there.
