Albanian Bliss

It had washing machine, the place is spacious, and it was clean.

The sheets had a strong fragrance, as if they were not rinsed properly. I contacted the host, but apparently the other sheets she had smelled the same. Per my local friends, it seems there is this laundry detergent in Albania that feels like it was not rinsed, and has like a greasy feeling. It was really uncomfortable to sleep with such smell. But hopefully the host will change the detergent to accomodate travelers who aren't used to this smell and the greasy feeling of the sheets. Also the AC in in the living room only. For the AC to reach the room, you need to leave the door open and wait for the room to cool down. I didn't cook much, but it didn't seem like the kitchen was well stocked.

The apartment was even better than I expected , spotlessly clean and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, 2 min walk from the south&north bus station and 15 min bus ride to the center. The host arranged a taxi for me with a very good price which made my arrival very very easy , no headaches . I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re visiting Tirana, don’t hesitate to book it, you won’t regret it.

Everything was great. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and very clean. The location is right next to the bus station. The owner was kind and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!
