Stylish Kennington apartment near tube with King Bed and garden

Location and space

Hot and stuffy, mainly due to record hot London weather. West facing window didn’t help the situation.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful apartment in Kennington. It’s super peaceful yet only a short walk to the Northern Line, which gets you into central London in minutes. After busy days in the city it was the perfect quiet retreat. The apartment was VERY clean, modern and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was extremely comfortable and we both slept really well. The bathroom has a powerful shower that was easy to adjust. The private garden is a real bonus and makes the space feel special for London. The WiFi was lightening fast, 700mbs and reliable, which was great as we were working remotely part of the time. The kitchen is cool, well equipped for preparing meals, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. The hosts were excellent, quick to respond and very helpful throughout. Clear instructions, smooth check-in and great communication. Kennington felt like a lovely, safe residential area with parks nearby and easy access to restaurants, cafés and supermarkets within walking distance. It’s ideal if you want to be close to central London but not in a noisy tourist zone. For the price and location, this is exceptional value. We would absolutely stay again!

Nothing major to note

We had a brilliant stay at this Kennington apartment. It’s in a beautiful Georgian building backing directly onto a large park, so it feels peaceful and green while being just a few minutes’ walk from Kennington tube near Waterloo. Central London is under 10 minutes away. The flat was spotless and very well maintained. The bed was really comfortable, the sofa perfect for relaxing. Plenty of fresh towels provided. Fast WiFi too. Being lower ground actually makes it calm, private and quiet, ideal after busy days in the city. The garden space and park outlook are a real bonus. Excellent communication from the host and smooth check-in. For the location, quality and comfort, this is outstanding value in London. We’d absolutely stay again.

The apartment was clean and had the bonus of an outdoor space. The hosts were quite accommodating about all aspects of the stay.

The bed and sofa bed were not at all comfortable. It was hard to figure out how to regulate the temperature in the shower.
