Our stay in Schotten was absolutely perfect. Communication with the host was fast, friendly, and incredibly easy. We arrived earlier than expected, around 1 p.m., and were kindly allowed to check in ahead of time. The apartment is spacious and beautifully arranged, offering four comfortable sleeping spots, a huge living room with a cozy wood-burning stove, and a freshly renovated modern kitchen equipped with everything you could need. There’s even a lovingly set-up fitness corner. We were almost tempted to fire up the garden’s swing grill, but Tom and his wife gave us a fantastic restaurant recommendation instead – and it was truly excellent. The sleeping quality deserves special mention. We haven’t slept this well in ages; the area is wonderfully quiet. Our morning walk in the nearby forest was a highlight too – we even spotted a deer. A truly relaxing place to unwind. We would happily return and can recommend this stay without hesitation.

Everything was excellent! we just needed more time - but will come back for sure!
