Island Cottage - Bruny Island

I heard quite often people bragging about their place as being a piece of paradise, so when I read the description on booking I taken it with a pinch of salt. But it proved soooo true. Fran, Jesse and family opened for us the doors to their paradise nest and for this, we are more that grateful. It was an amazing experience for us and definitely hard to beat it for future. View from armchair, view from bed, view from shower, woke up by the song of birds, lovely garden shared with kangaroos, wallabies and other animals, the amazing glass wall to the Neck … I am still crying for spending only one night there. More amazing was for me the chance to stargaze, first time when I saw so clearly the stars that I could touch them.

It was only one night, I can spend there my next life without any doubt.

The room was beautiful, bed comfortable and I loved the outlook out over the water. Nice private location and the kitchenette came in handy.

There was a bit of mould coming through in the shower on the timber wall. Understandable though with having wood in a wet area

The view, the glass wall were great. The stove was helpful. The location was great too. The couch is stylish and comfy. The design is very cool. Some mistake happened while I booking it (double booked) but the host helped me at the first place and solved the problem.

In general it was clean, but we stepped on some food crump in kitchen area when we just checked in. The water pressure in the shower is quite low. It’s fine in summer, but in winter it feels really cold when I shower.
