The Nelson Loft - Sauna, Balcony & City Centre Living

Great location, spacious! Great resources to play with - ping pong, card game etc.

Unfortunately there was rubbish left in a bin in one of the bedrooms. One of our guests works in the hotel industry - she was not very happy. There was an opened UHT milk left in the fridge.

It's central location and spaciousness

Bed was comfy, plenty of space, table tennis was enjoyable. Air conditioning kept the place very warm. Well decorated. Location was great.

Didn't like the stairs but that is a personal thing - I found them quite steep and narrow... was concerned they could be slippery with dew all whilst navigating luggage. Was stocked well so am guessing the lack of sugar was just missed. Found previous guests meal rubbish in the drawer. No remote for the lounge TV so couldn't use it. Cereal bags were opened and looked old so unusable. There was no milk for an initial cup of coffee before doing the grocery shopping. Only noted this so others can be prepared, I realise this is not compulsory.

Handy location for centre of town. Comfortable and clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Table tennis table was a laugh.

We found the access gate a little tricky to open, but it only took a few minutes to sort. It Just so happened it was raining when we arrived so finding the entry stairwell (which as a warning is steep to carry heavy luggage up and down) was made more difficult and could have been fine on a clearer day. The kitchen was well stocked but we found some items needed an extra clean before use.
