Beachfront ZEN sea view apartment

This apartment is in a safe and convenient location in the small town of Itea. There are restaurants right down the beach that serve Greek food, drinks, coffee, and breakfast. The view is incredible, and the long patio that spans the length of the apartment was wonderful to sit on, have a drink, and watch the water. The kitchen was small but had everything you need. The host was lovely and easy to reach at all times (key location before we arrived, and a slight problem with the washing machine). WiFi worked well and was easy to access. Parking is on the street and seemed to be plentiful.

The mattresses were hard, for those of us who like more padding, not comfortable. The pillows could have also been more plentiful and varied - one fairly flat pillow for each sleeper. The apartment lists 2 full baths. One bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo, but the other one just has a removable hand-held shower head mounted to the wall. We were there as 2 couples who wanted 2 full baths, but the 2nd couple ended up using our bathroom for showering, as they didn't want to bathe themselves while standing next to a toilet and sink. Important to know, if you expect 2 full baths! We managed, as it was a short stay.

Les portes de chambre qui ont du mal à se fermer ; il faut forcer et on réveille ceux qui dorment. Les matelas vraiment durs et peu confortable. Il manquerait un tancarville plus grand.

Appartement de standing, très très bien où nous avons passé le 1et de l’an et super lieux de villégiature depuis lequel aller a Delphes et autres. 2 lits king size très confortables. Belle vue, terrasse agressive, climatisation qui fonctionne bien, parking dans l’impasse.

Le cuisine manque en effet de finition et d’équipement mais c’est vraiment pas rédhibitoire.

The location was perfect, with a beautiful view out over the gorgeous bay. It was spacious and had everything we needed. There was a hair dryer, and towels for everyone, small shower gel and shampoo bottles. They had left us some biscuits and water, which was a lovely treat, and there were Starbucks coffee pods too. It was a short and lovely walk to the seafront cafes and restaurants. We thought that Itea is a little gem and in peak season is probably a thriving and lively seaside destination. At the end of October it was wonderfully quiet and yet still had plenty of choice for eating and drinking out, which is perfect. It's a short drive to Delfi and we also visited Arachova, which was a lovely ski town up the hill/mountain but easy to get to.

The shower curtain, it was new and clean, but shower curtains always stick to you! There was also no rail to keep the shower head up. The microwave was in the cupboard but you had to take it out of the cupboard and put it on the hob to use it because there was no plug socket to operate it in the cupboard, which seemed a bit odd that it was in there because of limited work space, yet you couldn't use it in there, maybe that's normal in Greece?
