Modern Serviced Studio in London

The property was very basic but for value for money and for a short stay it was ideal! The shower was AMAZING which is a huge bonus after a long day of walking around London ! The kitchen facilities were also very handy!!

The room smelled a bit like cigarettes so I'm not sure if the person staying before us smoked or if that's from the restaurant below but it was the first thing I noticed! It was cold in the space but thankfully the host left heaters which was so appreciated and needed!! The lack of iron was a bit of a pain but I shouldn't have assumed there was one! Also nowhere to put clothes away so a lil set of drawers would have been handy as we just left clothes on the floor.

Breakfast was not included. Convenient for local food shops, Streatham Hill Station and various bus services. The flat was basic but generally clean. The host was very pleasant when I reported that the radiators and hot water were cold and responded quickly to my texts but was not very effective in resolving the problems. I have asked for a refund for the inconvenience.

The radiators were working the night I arrived but thereafter were cold. The only other heater was a small fan heater. The host did offer an additional heater after 10pm on the final night I stayed. I declined his offer as I was tired and wished to retire. It was a cold night and I ended up putting my coat and gilet over me and wearing a fleece jacket in bed to keep warm. There was no hot water the second evening of my stay and the water was only warm when I left the flat the following morning so didn’t shower until later. The microwave plate was grubby and there were food splashes on the work surface in front of the microwave.
