Tirent Apartment - Spacious 2-Bedroom Stay Near Liqeni i Thatë

Grateful to be granted early check in (off season), and for the help getting into the apartment with my bags. Good communication and decent directions. It is in a good neighborhood just a few minutes walk to the artificial lake path, good bakeries, grocery and restaurants. There are enough items in the kitchen to cook some without trouble. Stove works great. The fridge is good. The bed was comfortable. If you aren't too picky, this is fine.

The apartment is in dire need of some fixes. It has had many things break that either got "fixed" with tape, a basic solution or left broken. For safety- the patio door does NOT LOCK, and can't be secured another way, it is not the ground floor but only one up. The patio shutters do not open/close either. The shower door broke a long time ago and a shower curtain was just put in the opening, there is some mold on both the curtain and the back of the shower. The shower head is no longer hands free, that is also broken. No TV remote. The tiny second bedroom (kids room) has a funky smell. Many of the kitchen items were dirty and needed to be soaked/washed before use, the coffee pot had mold in it. The couches look more comfortable and cleaner than they are. The windows are thin and sounds come through easily, as are the walls, can hear the neighbors talking and their TV as if it were in the same room. I've stayed in three places in Tirana, this one cost more and was not as nice as the others, BUT was a little bigger, in a higher priced neighborhood, so that is my comparison. This one was the least clean but had the best kitchen items. Was not given a fob to use the elevator, but it's only one floor up.
