Southwood Serenity

Great location right on the lake . Very clean and a smaller condo complex ( which we loved ) . Tucked away location but not far away from all the attractions . 10 to 15 min drive to most places you’d go when at the lake . No tv in the master bedroom but we just watched in the living room which was no big deal. All and all the best stay we’ve had at the lake and we come down every month all seasons .

The parking is a little tricky . You get one spot in front of the condo . Apparently some of the condo “ owners get 2 spots and they take it serious if you mistakenly park in their spot . But there’s signs all over the parking lot that say you’ll be towed if you park in basically every spot . The owner of the unit above us notified us the spot for our condo was #101. The numbers painted on the pavement are not in any order and you have to figure it out . So going forward if you stay at building 110 unit 1A….. you’ll have the #101 parking spot .

Great location . Very accommodating. Nice view from our balcony . Clean .

Not crazy about the 4pm check in and 10am out . Half the day is gone by the time you can get in and very rushed to be out in the morning . Also ….. the tv internet was out the entire stay . We contacted the appropriate people and nothing was done .

Very nice and comfy. We did not have an issue with anything. Very clean

The price was reasonable, it was clean and in great condition. Instructions where good. Plenty of towels. The balcony had cool lighting and the rooms decor was simple, but had a nice theme.

The exit gate was hard to figure out, every time we left it tool over 5 min. and several tries. Not enough outlets, had to unplug items to be able to plug in devices. Could be solved by providing surge bars. Letting clients know in advance this was on the 3rd floor would be very considerate. We had a disabled person and the stairs almost killed her. Need more bowls in kitchen ware. Lake view was kind of misleading.
