Fabulous location and good value for two people.

Loved the location over a very steep hill. The apartment was clean and pretty clise to the centre. Good experience overall.

We needed a ‘welcome pack’ to point out out where things were in the apartment and in Vitre. The internet didn’t connect. The owners were helpful by message but not by phone. Although they had sent information to us on our the day of the travel which we didn’t see.

Extremely dirty accommodation

Location and parking

The accommodation was extremely dirty. If cleanliness matters to you, this is definitely not the place — there was accumulated dirt everywhere, clearly showing it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. We couldn’t even use the kitchen. There was mold everywhere. The extractor hood looked like it had never been cleaned, with fossilized bugs stuck to it. To make things worse, when we arrived, there was a cat inside the apartment because the window had been left open. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

Having the bathroom upstairs and the toilet downstairs is a bit odd but understandable given the design. Make sure your car has good low gear!

Disappointing stay in a charming area

Great location with a rural feel but just below the old city wall.

Badly-designed conversion of an old stone building, that could have been lovely. Cramped, with a windowless toilet in a tiny space under the stairs full of cleaning equipment. The bed was particularly small with shabby bedlinen. The outdoor setting on the deck, which was the obvious place to eat or enjoy a coffee hadn't been cleaned for some time and was covered with debris from the trees. The entry door was impossible to lock both from the outside and inside, so I had to leave the property unlocked to go out for the evening and couldn't lock the door when I went to bed. I sent a message to the owners about this which was never answered. The kitchen/dining area didn't seem to have been cleaned since the previous guests, with crumbs on the table and a very marked hotplate. The DVD player wasn't connecting to the the screen so couldn't be used. The large glass recycling bin didn't seem to have been emptied for some time as it was full to overflowing. Altogther a very disappointing stay in what was a charming area.

Pretty and warm house, worth of money. Just about 11 min walk from train station.

Just to highlight, there's a slope before you reach the house. If you come with public transport, make sure you aware on that, because you need to walk through to the slope. If you want to catchup early train in the morning before sunrise, there's no lamp on that slope. But If you leave after sunrise, there's no issue at all. Basically, not to say I don't like, but just to highlight to others to aware this.

La maisonnette du Val se trouve dans un écrin de verdure très calme aux pieds des remparts. Elle se trouve à deux pas de toutes les comodités. Elle est petite mais très bien agencées et très propre. La literie est très bonne.

Sehr idyllisch und ruhig gelegen und das fast in der Stadt.

Die Lage und die Ruhe sind sehr erholsam. Man kann im Freien im Garten sitzen. Wir hatten die Wohnung Valenbas und hier was alles sehr sauber und frisch renoviert. Es gibt vorab eine ausführliche Wegbeschreibung durch die teils engen Gässchen. Wir haben unser Auto im Ort gelassen und sind die 10min gelaufen. Waren aber auch nur zur Zwischenübernachtung und hatten kaum Gepäck. Die Schlüsselübergabe ist unkompliziert über eine Box am Haus. Wirklich ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Attention annulation possible le matin de la réservation sans remboursement de la propriétaire

La propriétaire du logement nous a contactés le matin de la réservation pour nous annoncer qu’elle ne pourrait pas honorer son engagement. À préciser que la propriétaire a annulé notre réservation en indiquant que nous nous étions pas présentés (honte à elle !) …. Avec en continuité un mail nous indiquant que la somme prépayée de 63 euros ne nous sera pas remboursée.

Ce séjour étais excellent.

l'équipement de la cuisine étais très bien il y avait deux machine a café différent avec étais fournie ce qu'il fallait pour faire du café aussi une théier avec ce qu'il fallait et un grille pain.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter la ville a pied. Voiture sur parking privé.

- Aucun contact avec les propriétaires, par chance nous avons marché et découvert les petites rues qui amènent en ville, dommage de n'avoir aucune info la dessus car l'appartement paraît excentré mais il est très bien situé en cherchant un peu dans les remparts... - Appartement bcp trop chargé: Beaucoup trop équipé, dommage car le ménage est compliqué à faire entre 2 locations dû au chargement des pièces. Planche a découpé toute grasse sur le plan de travail, pots à épices poussiéreux et gras, grille pain non nettoyé, vous avez les restes de miettes des anciens locataires, idem pour l'aspirateur non vidé quasi plein, avec le réservoir transparent donc bien visible... Cafetière Senseo propre a l'oeil mais quand vous soulevez le bac vous voyez les écoulements d'anciens cafés qui stagnent et moisissent... Le lavabo de la salle de bain idem n'était pas très propre, gel douche entamé dans la douche. Quelqu'un y vit régulièrement ? L'appartement est très bien agencé pour sa taille et équipé avec matériaux de qualité mais dommage que le ménage soit si bâclé. Par contre les draps et serviettes, lit, canapé étaient propres. Très bien pour une nuit de passage mais nous ne serons pas restés plus longtemps..

Fijne comfortabele gîte.

Heerlijk rustige groene omgeving, dichtbij het centrum. De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er zijn boeken en wat spelletjes aanwezig. De gîte is comfortabel. Een aanrader.
