Your home away from home! Entire cottage- Disney

The house was very clean & nice. We loved the proximity to old Town Kissimmee, & we absolutely loved the community pool & hot tub! The pond view off the back porch was very pretty. The host seemed very sweet.

Before I made the reservation I called Marie the host to make sure our 3 little 10 Lb dogs would be no extra charge as her property description said pets welcome. Marie said yes to free dogs, that's fine, but was more concerned about guests using her cutting board & not cutting her counters than any dogs. Shortly after we got there she acted surprised to see our 3 little dogs on her outdoor cameras & said she wanted us to pay $90 extra for the dogs (above the $100 cleaning fee I paid upfront when I made the reservation). So because Marie the host had no recollection of our previous dog phone conversation prior to me making the reservation, & us already unpacking, we went ahead & paid her $90 directly thru paypal. (We could have stayed at another nearby cottage with no dog fee had I known when I booked). The whole ordeal was very misleading & confusing having a host "completely forget" a conversation about her not charging extra for dogs & then charging extra once we were there. I get some places charge for dogs but the purpose of my calling ahead of time was so I would know if there was a charge upfront. Otherwise Marie seemed very sweet in text although her texts were also very confusing throughout. The only thing to sit on in Livingroom to watch TV was a futon with a broken leg & collapsing cushions (which she admitted she knew about) so we didn't want to sit on it & sat in kitchen chairs to watch TV. Then we decided it may be more comfortable to watch TV in bed in bedroom, but that TV remote wouldn't work even with new batteries we put in it. All in all, most of our stays thru VRBO & Booking.com there was no pet fee and it was the "hosts" decision. I always make sure a house I rent is very clean when I leave & Marie was nice enough to text me later & thanked me for taking good care of her house & that we left it so clean.
