The POD Suite Hostel Blasco

Had a bad experience here unfortunately. The plug in my pod was not working. Had to use exterior plugs in the room and pray whatever i was charging stayed there without monitoring. The washroom was dirty every time i went in. Hair and water all over the floor, the sink was dirty with hair and dirt/spit (not on the pod as people can be disgusting.. but still).. also, the water didn’t flow well through the sink. And the female wc was only one-person use for 3 rooms/28 pods or so - not convenient especially with the toilet and shower being in the same washroom. People were too noisy after 9pm and starting 6am. Perhaps housekeeping rules need to be set to ensure a better experience. Maybe even anti-noise earplugs can be given as some pod/capsule hostels do. There was no personnel on site, only phone support but worked for me for checkin help. I liked the curtains availability for each pod to keep some privacy, so that was a plus. The pod climate was a bit cold and couldn’t be adjusted - I accidentally found some duvets in the lockers so took one.

It's a self-checked in pod hostel and you won't see any front desk staff. You will be provided the passcode to enter the hostel and the room (make sure you message them if they didnt send you). The process is rather easy and straightforward. The pod itself is spacious and clean, not much place for storage in the room tho they have lockers in the common area. The shower in the main female bathroom drains slowly and tends to clog. Location is pretty good, 2 metro stations and bus stops are all within 10 minutes walking distance, also supermarket right at the back. This would be an ideal place if you're an introvert since you can easily not talking to anyone during your stay. But if you want to social and meet new people, definitely not the place for you to be

It’s not bad , gets u everything

I will definitely go back when I visit Valencia.
