I have mixed feelings about this rental. I will just lay it out…. The good: the view the view the view!!! Gorgeous. We saw dolphins almost every day! So much beauty! The place was clean, the linens very nice, pool area was cleaned daily. The place was open concept and roomy. Fast response from maintenance—we complained about a non-flushing toilet, and a new one was put in the next day. The Less Good: roaches. The place was not overrun but we saw a handful during a week’s time—we did not mention it because we did not want to be sprayed, either. It is a corner unit, and the balcony is half the size of the other units. In exchange, there is a huge picture window which was beautiful—so that’s a personal thing. We are balcony people so it bummed us out that all four of us couldn’t fit comfortably. The furnishings were nice, but getting old. The fridge had no useable shelves in the door, and it was already smaller-sized. The stove had all of the settings scrubbed off, so it was sort of a guess. We did wonder why the toilet was replaced right away vs a repair, did they know it was a problem? There were not many places to walk to, which is a matter of preference, not a complaint. Quick drive to Anna Maria and Sarasota. I think we’d try someplace else if we were back in the area, but enjoyed our stay for the most part.
