Our vacation rental "Am neuen Thore" is modernly furnished and invites you to enjoy an unforgettable Harz vacation in the "City of Flowers" in the Harz Mountains. Enjoy your nights in our box-spring bed—the modern open-concept kitchen has everything you could want! Relax on our corner sofa or in our courtyard!
Our vacation rental “Am neuen Thore” is modernly furnished and has been freshly renovated. In the bedroom, you can relax on a 1.40-meter-wide box-spring bed—and conveniently store your luggage in the separate closet. In the living and kitchen area, a small dining nook and a corner sofa set await you—which can also be converted into a second sleeping area approximately 1.40 m wide if needed. From here, you’ll have a perfect view of our flat-screen TV. The modern kitchen is equipped with a stove with a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a coffee maker, and a toaster. The bathroom features a shower, sink, and toilet. When the weather is nice, our charming courtyard is also available for you to enjoy—relax here with a glass of our fine wine. The vacation rental offers free Wi-Fi. Bicycles can be securely stored in the hallway.
Blankenburg captivates with its central location at the foot of the Harz Mountains and is a tourist gem that is completely undeservedly overshadowed by its two famous neighbors. Located right off the A36, you can reach the city centers of Wernigerode and Quedlinburg, as well as the Teufelsmauer, in about 15 minutes; Thale is only 10 minutes away, and Aschersleben and Goslar are each about 30 minutes away. You can also take the federal highway directly into the Harz Mountains—the Rappbode Dam, Harzdrenalin, and Hasselfelde are just a few minutes’ drive away.
