About this house rental
This is newly constructed home has deeded access to a private Lake Michigan beach! The deeded access has 60 steps down to the beach. The home is also located right on the edge and within walking distance to Cedar Point County Park. The park is approximately 2.5 acres and includes a shaded picnic area as well as 133 feet of sandy beach! The screened-in porch on this has two swings and seating for 16 people, you will spend lots of your time enjoying this space, and you can also hear the waves crashing on Lake Michigan from the porch. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off when you come back from a day at the beach. The children will love the secret playroom off of the kitchen, they can slide down to the room or take the ladder!

Cedar Creek Cottage features two main-floor master suites! Each suite has a queen bed, a TV, and an attached bathroom. Upstairs you will find a large room sleeping for 6 with two twins over queen bunk beds, this room also has a TV and a bathroom. The main floor living room has a queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping. This home is fully loaded with all of your favorite things; ping pong table, games, movies, pack n play, highchair, Alexa, secret playroom with toys, gas grill for outdoor cooking, and the most amazing porch! There is also a wood-burning fireplace on the porch for you to enjoy. The beach is within walking distance and the house has a kayak and stand-up paddle board available for your use. This is not a pet-friendly property.
Silver Lake is located in Mears, Michigan, and offers shorelines along Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. While vacationing here you won't want to miss out on the experiences that the massive Silver Lake Sand Dunes have to offer. Rent a jeep of your own or head over to Mac Wood's Dune Rides for an adventurous ride on the sand dunes. Nearby is the Hart-Montague Bicycle Trail which will take you along 22.5 miles of scenic routes. The quaint little town of Pentwater is located just north of the Silver Lake area. Pentwater is the epitome of small-town charm with its shops, food, and ice cream. Don't forget to grab breakfast at Cherry Point, where they offer homemade donuts and treats daily. For dinner, spend an evening at Golden Sands, a small, family-owned restaurant and golf course that will leave a lasting impression. Only disappointment was that we thought we would have a view of Lake Michigan from the house, but it was easy enough to walk to beach.

House is beautiful & clean. Pictures are accurate. We enjoyed the screened-in porch and open concept living space. The house is set up nicely for multiple families. Of note, beach access is down a large staircase.
