Glebe Cottage

The location for our stay was excellent. It is a quiet side road with a large garden at the back and a church by the side so a very quiet and peaceful place. We could imagine how wonderfully cozy the cottage would be with the log burner going. What a treat to have a separate dining room too! The rooms were clean and welcoming and the beds wonderfully comfortable. The bathroom is huge!! Most of all the hosts were very accommodating. On arrival we were early for check in as we had an event nearby to attend to it was so kind to allow us to access to put our perishable food in the fridge.

Absolutely magical and full of charm. Beautifully placed in an ideal village. Great pub nearby and a restaurant with delicious breakfasts. We had a wonderful stay.

Lovely location

The television was not working properly due to the internet connection

Beautiful old cottage with lots of period features. In a lovely peaceful village with a great pub just across the road. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding and towels were lovely and clean.

Property feels a little neglected. There were cobwebs and a few hairs in the bath. The toilet pan was a little wobbly and the light bulbs were missing from the bedrooms. The back door handle had also sheared off on the outside. We took our dogs but could not let them loose in garden as there is no fence/wall between the cottage and the neighbours. The double bed was very creaky but not too uncomfortable. No Christmas tree or decorations. With a little bit of TLC and perhaps a little welcome hamper this cottage would be amazing and could command a higher rate. Property owner took a long time to respond to messages.
