Size and location are great. Right across from the Vermont country store and car chargers. Plenty of space for a family of 5. And we brought our dog. Love that. Beds were comfortable and linens/towels all clean. Overall the house was clean.
The dining chairs all felt like they were on the verge of collapsing. No chairs in kitchen to sit around island. Oven and toaster oven were pretty gross. Burned food remnants left on/in stove surfaces. Plenty of utensils and appointments, but some needed replacing. I.e. teflon flaking and peeling on fry pans. Communication with booking.com or Vacasa terrible. We booked through bookings.com, but for some reason, Vacasa was also in the process. So we received emails from both companies with conflicting information. When we lost hot water, we tried to get some support. Support Links in emails not working. On hold with support numbers from both for hours, only to be disconnected for no apparent reason. When I used the chat feature didn’t receive responses for over an hour. Never actually talked to a human being about lack of hot water. I was able to reset the electric hot water heater and get it started without help from the booking company.
