The house was a wonderful size with plenty of space for a group of 8. The hot tub and kids pool was so much fun and the pool table was highly utilised. The en suite toilets were very handy. What a great place to live! The Red Lion was in walking distance and we loved the Maize Maze nearby!
As I had read in previous emails, the house could do with some homely touches and some upkeep. It was very clean but lacked certain things that could have improved it such as basics like an instruction folder, table mats, games, DVDs, local leaflets, etc. The decking and some flooring was damaged.

The property is fabulous but needs some attention. There’s lots of space if a large group and the pool and hot tub make your stay great. Local pub 10 min walk great food and very friendly
The whole place needs a deep clean and a lot of attention. There’s a broken bannister and the pool table is all ripped and also ripped a pair of shorts one of our quests was wearing. The decking around the pool area needs attention as some boards have risen or broken and are dangerous if your have children with you. Fridge needs to be switched on longer before visitors arrive as didn’t get cold quick and drainage in showers and sink takes time but over all our stay was pleasant

The house was spacious and perfect for our large family who were staying in the area for a wedding. The kitchen was well fitted out, with everything we needed. The living room had comfortable furniture. Bathrooms were clean. The hot tub worked well, nice and hot and a good size for the amount of people.
The upstairs had a very musty smell in some of the bedrooms. All the bed linen was very strongly musty smelling, like it had been stored for a long time. The maintenance on the property was poor, it didnt appear to be being maintained well at all. The garden was unsafe for children to be left playing in it unsupervised, as the decking at the top was loose and broken, the pool wasn't fenced off (was also unusable during our stay due to being green) and garden had very steep steps which was a fall hazard.
