Museum District Apartment

Nicely maintained property and very clean.

Apartament był w pełni wyposażony, nowy , super czysty i doskonale urządzony. Gospodarz zapewnił gościom pełen komfort i przytulność. Lokalizacja co prawda był na przy głównej i ruchliwej ulicy ale samo mieszkanie było wręcz doskonałe w każdym calu i lokalizacja zapewniała bliskość restauracji, kawiarni. Do centrum : Syntagma, Plaka może było dojść spacerkiem 20min.

The apartment is centrally located in a residential area with many bus lines passing right outside the front door of the building. The National Archeological Museum is across the street. The main attractions of Athens such as the Acropolis and the touristy neighborhoods are 25-30 min walk or 10-15 min. bus ride away. The apartment is spacious with two separate bedrooms, living room and a well-equipped kitchen providing all appliances one can think of. That made it appropriate for a longer stay by a group with enough space for everyone. The host has thought of every detail, including a closet with first-aid supplies which came handy. There were some snacks, coffee and tee available in the kitchen. I was impressed by the thoughtfulness and careful consideration of a traveler's needs. Helpful orientation materials and instructions were provided in advance. Numerous good restaurants and cafes could be reached on foot in the vicinity.

The only thing that future guests might want to have in mind is the traffic noise. The building is located on the corner of two busy streets with a lot of traffic that takes off early in the morning and goes on until late. I would also suggest that more than one set of keys or an alternative entry method be provided to be used when individual guests follow their own schedules as opposed to moving as a group.
