Borgo Tufaia

My family and I stayed at Agrumento Lodge at Borgo Tufaia. We had a fully functioning kitchen, a master bedroom and guest bedroom, a bathroom, and jacuzzi in our main bedroom. We stayed for two weeks, and Borgo Tufaia truly became our home. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast with fresh Apulian fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and desserts. Afterward we would head straight to the pool to enjoy the amazing, relaxing hot weather. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Luca and Antonella in particular were incredibly accommodating — they made sure we felt comfortable and were always happy to help with directions around town, restaurant recommendations, and even adjusting our stay dates. I highly recommend staying at Borgo Tufaia. The well-curated property sits on beautiful land with historic olive orchards, vibrant plants, fig trees, cacti, and lovely gardens. It was a true heavenly retreat.

We had the most incredible stay at Borgo Tufaia. The property is so dreamy and serene, it feels private and secluded, and the pool is perfect for a lazy day in the sun. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and cleaned throughly every morning while we had breakfast. The service was absolutely amazing and so personalised. The hosts Luca and Antonella were so welcoming and walked us through everything we needed to know during check in. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable, including going out of their way to get us fresh berries for breakfast despite not usually serving them. They also gave us some great local restaurant and beach recommendations. We loved the location as well as it felt more authentic and local than the more touristy areas like Monopoli and Poligano a Mare, however still just a short 10-15 minute drive away. The property is located next to a train station, however we didn’t hear any trains and had zero issues with noise. Overall such a lovely experience and would recommend it to anyone! 10/10

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Außerdem ist die Lage perfekt, um Ampulien und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir waren absolut begeistert und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
