Close to tram that takes you right to alexanderplatz. Close to grocery store. And a few restaurants and cafes.

The bath soap was empty. But we were able to easily get around the corner.

Location, comfort, surroundings.

Bien placé, proche du tramway à 5mn à pied. Bien équipé et spacieux. Le propriétaire répond rapidement et très gentil.

The owner was very responsive and cordial although we never met him. Access was easy although the entry procedure has changed and so it's a little confusing if you don't have mobile data access. The apartment was lovely and warm considering how cold Berlin was during our 5 days stay. The apartment is in a very good location and within 5 minutes to a tram. There are lots of fantastic restaurants nearby. The neighbourhood looks safe and is upmarket. ( Having worked as a diplomat all my life and travelled the world staying in thousands of accommodations in hundreds of countries the constructive comments below are based on our personal experience. People can see my profile online and notice my other reviews. Unfortunately on this occasion the accommodation was not in accordance with our expectations or the requirements we expect when renting) Thank you for understanding that our review is a true reflection of our experience over a 5 day period. The apartment is simply in need of an upgrade in certain areas and a deep clean. This would rectify many of the issues as reported.

1. The shower would flood very easily, no matter how you shower. There were old signs of flooding that can be seen into the living area and bathroom floor. 2. Rather dirty and looks like it is in need of a "deep clean". For an apartment costing €180.00 a night. ( floors were dirty, cobwebs in bedroom, and food spillage and leftovers in Fridge) Unfortunately this is unacceptable. 3. Very noisy upstairs neighbors and in general considering your at the back of the building. All apartment block rubbish bins are located adjacent to the living and bedroom windows, so very noisy early in the morning and throughout the day. 5. Strange and obtrusive entrance configuration to the apartment via the master bedroom so very little Privacy. Exit and entrance to the apartment disturbs people using this bedroom.
