Floating Villa near Nzulezu

We really enjoyed our stay for two nights. The house sits right on the lake, which makes it very peaceful and quite special. You can feel that a lot of thought has gone into the place , the lighting and decoration are done in a very creative and tasteful way. We were only three people, but the house felt very spacious with three bedrooms, 3 beds and 3 bathrooms. Everything was clean and well maintained throughout the stay. The owner was very helpful and quite accessible for any enquiries. We asked for a stove, and he quickly arranged a portable cooker so we could even make kebab on the balcony. Overall, a very good stay. Great location, and fair price for what you get. I would definitely recommend it.

Nothing major to point out, especially considering it is a house and not a hotel. Just a small note that while there are plates and cutlery available, not looked too clean to us. Make sure that you have shampoo and towels with you. On a separate note, I would personally skip the Nzulezu tour. It is quite expensive for what it offers, and the village itself is not well maintained and actually full of dirt.

Every detail has been thoughtfully put together - from the comfortable beds and modern amenities to the peaceful outdoor deck perfect for sunsets. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The cuisine they prepared was delicious and authentically Ghanaian, adding even more charm to our experience. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful retreat, or a unique adventure, this floating villa is a must-visit. It’s the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and luxury. Sehr schönes, neues Haus mit wundervollem Ambiente: sehr geschmackvolle Möbel und gemütliche Beleuchtung. 3 große Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad. Im Zentrum des Hauses die Küchenzeile und Wohn/Esszimmer (aktuell noch ohne Esstisch und Stühle, die aber noch kommen; Stand August 2025). Sauber und ordentlich. Direkt nebenan eine Bar mit lecker zubereiteten, lokalen Gerichten und Getränken. Das Haus liegt direkt am Kanal nach Nzulezu (circa 15 Minuten mit dem Boot) und in weniger als 5 Minuten ist man am Strand.
