Very convenient location, beautiful property, very well thought out and incredibly clean. Super comfy bed. Garden would be wonderful in good weather

Parking - was difficult and we were scared to move our car once there in case we lost it. Road out the front is quite noisy

The location was excellent, a 10 minute walk into the centre of town, with lots of footpaths and walkways very near without needing to use the car. Every thing in the house was very new and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of hot water. Lovely garden leading down to the river and perfect for the dogs (apart from one or two holes in the hedge, which they could have got through into the next door neighbours garden so we had to keep an eye on them).

Parking was a bit of an issue. We did manage to find a space opposite, but then it was completely full throughout our time there. So I do not know what we would have done if we couldn’t park there. The house itself is right on a busy main road and the car cannot be parked outside. The smaller front bedroom was very noisy at night due to traffic from the main road. We wanted to use the barbecue but were told we had to buy a cylinder. We wouldn’t know what sort of cylinder or attachment to get so would actually be dangerous. Cylinders should be supplied or please remove the barbecue! The dishwasher door would not open flat so difficult to pull out the dishwasher rack. The plates wouldn’t fit in the rack as they were too thick so was difficult loading and unloading. Could have done with a few serving bowls or mixing bowls. And smaller bowls for desserts.

Stunning property very well done and good use of space, with everything you could ever need.

The property was described as pet friendly but the garden wasn’t pet friendly with big gaps in the hedges for the dogs to enter neighbouring gardens. There was also dog mess in the garden that I picked up when we arrived. The smoke alarm at the top of the stairs still had a dust cover over it so may not have worked if there was a fire.
