Casa Jolie

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Jolie. The communication before, during, and after our stay was excellent. Check-in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The property itself was immaculate - very clean and tidy. It had everything you need - hair dryer, towels, ironing board, coffee machine, dishwasher, plenty of cutlery/utensils, and so much more. The complimentary cake and fruit was a nice touch on arrival. Located only 5mins drive from Ponta do Sol which turned out to be our favourite town out of everywhere we visited and which also had some lovely restaurants. The property is also only a short walk from the start of the Levada Moinho/Levada Nova hike - highly recommend.

A couple of very minor points, purely down to personal preference: I found the pillows in the one of the bedrooms too firm, so I used an extra pillow from the other room which was much softer and more comfortable. It would also be great if the dressing table had a small stool or chair so guests could sit comfortably in front of the mirror. We also really enjoyed the automatic water/ice dispenser on the fridge. However, after using it, the fridge made a constant humming noise which was noticeable in the lounge/dining area (although not heard upstairs). Opening the fridge door seemed to reduce it temporarily, so it may just be normal for this type of appliance. In the end, it just became background noise and wasn’t much of an issue. Overall, these are very minor points and certainly did not detract from what was an excellent stay. We would happily recommend Casa Jolie to others visiting Madeira.

Naprosto úchvatná víla.Nádherný prostor,neskutečně vše čisté,krásný výhled ,v kuchyni je úplně vše,nechybí žehlička,mixér,pračka ,sušička .Velký benefit je parkování za vraty hned u vily.Vřele doporučuji.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean, super complete in all amenities. The host gives instant replies on questions and inquiries. We had a great stay! Close to a few exciting trails, a little further away from the coastal towns, but we prefer that over the business. Really a place to relax from everyday life and after a full day of hiking. Great shower, big bath in the 2nd bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds (one hard, one softer, so pick you liking, only a little on the small side for such a big house and bedrooms)

De ruimte en voorzieningen zijn top. Voor 2 personen een compleet huis voor onszelf en een heerlijke grote keuken en living. Hier met meerdere personen verblijven is zeker een aanrader.

Voor ons maakt het niet uit, want we zitten graag op rustige plekken. Echter ligt casa jolie even een stukje bergop rijden en niet vlakbij faciliteiten als restaurants mocht je dat belangrijk vinden. Het enige waar we nog iets aan toe zouden voegen is wat meer aankleding, zodat de woonruimte wat minder hol klinkt. Echter is dit echt een detail waar we zeker niet over klagen, maar zie het als tip.
