The Environment is very casual and friendly, good for solo travellers. The beds are nice and clean, Worldcup matches were going on in the common space. Rooms were reasonably clean for a hostel.

If the beds were bolted to the walls it would be better, because when either of the person above or below gets on or off the bed the whole thing moves and disturbs the one who's sleeping.

The HOST. Mr Raja and Davidson are doing amazing work at Stargze backpackers. I stayed for 1 month and felt like home. Beautiful ambience and perfect location for tourist

Raja ji was amazing, helped us with everything. Took us out for a nice walk in the night and told us nice stories about Shillong and neighbouring villages. The owner should increase his pay, he is awesome.

Charging ports are an issue. Lacking charging ports beside beds.
