Lovely Apartments in the Heart of Guimarães by HostWise

Appartement bien situé, assez bien équipé, il y a presque tout l'essentiel. Literie très confortable. Propre. Accès pour entrer simple. Très calme. Spacieux pour deux personnes. Électroménager de bonne qualité. Quelques attentions d'accueil qui font plaisir (capsules de café, sucre, huile d'olive...) Lo logement porte bien son nom plutôt romantique !!! Semble avoir été rénové récemment. Stationnement facile à cette période

Pas de machine à laver et sèche linge contrairement à ce qui était mentionné dans le descriptif de l'appartement. Un vrai problème j'ai dû laver du linge à la main difficile à faire sécher. !!! Draps propres mais tâchés. Serviettes propres mais également tâchées. Nombre de serviettes insuffisant pour deux semaines. Rideau de douche endommagé, le bas présente de nombreuses tâches. Manque de rangement pour les vêtements.

O espaço muito amplo, luminoso, limpo, moderno e acolhedor.

As casas de banho. A precisar de uma limpeza a fundo.

La casa è molto carina, esattamente come in foto se non meglio. l’abbiamo trovata molto pulita e ben riordinata; tutte le camere hanno delle finestre e sono molto spaziose. si può sfruttare il terrazzino e la colazione fuori è stata stupenda. casa attrezzata di bollitore, macchinetta del caffè, microonde, forno, lavatrice (hanno fornito una pastiglia) e di lavastoviglie ma non c’erano pastiglie. nel complesso ottima esperienza.

la cucina era poco attrezzata solo per quanto riguarda gli utensili (es. forbici) e non c’erano le basi acqua, sale.

The mattress was comfortable, the area felt safe, and the check-in process was very convenient. I arrived late in the evening and was able to access everything easily using the provided codes, without any stress. Communication was generally responsive and questions were answered quite quickly, except for the internet issue, which was not resolved despite being reported.

The apartment is very basic and did not match the expectations set by the listing. The biggest issue is the street noise — the road right below the windows is quite busy. There is constant traffic, noticeable fumes, and even vibrations, which makes it difficult to relax, especially for longer stays. The apartment is also significantly smaller than advertised (definitely not 50 sq.m.). There is no private washing machine, only a shared one in the building that costs extra (€3 for washing and €2 for drying), which should be clearly stated. The internet was inconsistent — it worked reasonably well most days but lagged frequently, and for a couple of days it didn’t work at all. After reporting the issue, I was told someone would come, but no one ever did. Cleanliness and overall attention to detail could be improved. For example, I was greeted with a used sponge, which is a small thing but not a pleasant first impression and reflects a lack of care. Bedding was also quite poor. There were also maintenance issues: the toilet flush tank often got stuck and didn’t refill properly. Additionally, some elements shown in the listing were missing — there were no curtains or rugs, which didn’t bother me personally but still did not match the advertised photos. I stayed for a month and did not feel comfortable during that time.
