Melrose Bed and Breakfast

Melrose B&B bietet ein schnelles Self-Check-in an, so dass man jederzeit anreisen kann. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die Betten bequem. Parkplätze sind im Hof ausreichend vorhanden. Louise machte morgens ein gutes Frühstück und war sehr freundlich. In ca. 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in Clonakilty, mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten. In Clonakilty und Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen und auch lecker essen gehen.

We had such a great stay and couldn’t have asked for a better host. She was incredibly lovely and welcoming throughout our stay. One of our friends is vegan, and she went out of her way to make him a vegan breakfast in the morning, which was such a thoughtful touch. We were also away working from very early in the morning, and when we came back to the house, breakfast had been prepared for all of us. It was a really lovely gesture and much appreciated. Everything about the stay was great, and we genuinely couldn’t fault our host or the hospitality. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Location was a bit too far to walk from town at night. Short cab rides were needed at night. Host Louise was kind to give us a ride into town a couple of times. We enjoyed talking with Louise. She was an excellent host.

Cute garden

Overpriced. We paid 270e for 2 nights. The room is 9m2, you can hear everything that’s happening in the house from room beside to downstairs. Breakfast is terrible, plastic wrapped waffle, industrial marmalade and toasts …didn’t see the host once except 1min for breakfast. Looks like there are a lots of people living in this house which makes the vibes quite bizarre. The night should be max 70e breakfast included for what you get.
