To the north of the town is Lough Allen, the third largest lake on the River Shannon, with excellent angling and opportunities for windsurfing, canoeing and other water sports. If golf is your game, you will find four excellent courses within easy reach. Drumshanbo has something for everyone, whatever time of year you choose to visit.
