Villa in Saint Paul de Vence
Reasons to book
About this villa rental
It is 1900 m² of garden on several levels in the Provençal style, with a salt infinity pool.
It is a 180-degree view made of living paintings that are offered to you in an exceptional setting: the village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence in the open field, the lights of the Mediterranean Sea at the Cap d'Antibes, a sunset over the Estérel massif...
The accommodation
The first level serves three suites.
- The 1st is a master bedroom, the centerpiece of the villa with its door of extraordinary dimensions, its stone floor, its exposed beams and its imposing headboard of almost 4 meters, made of old Canadian wood. In the bathroom, the bathtub is another place to relax with an oak glass roof, as is the shower and its massage jets.
- In the 2nd suite (Natural Room): natural fibers are honored for the night part; the bathroom is dressed in white waxed concrete and two huge floor-to-ceiling mirrors.
- The 3rd bedroom (Baldachin Room) has a more intimate tone with its four-poster bed and Versailles parquet flooring; the bathroom features terracotta, produced locally.
To access the lower floor, you take a staircase punctuated by beautiful silk pendant lights created in Vietnam and dressed in a delightful fresco.
- Downstairs, the 4th suite (Shutter Room) has been designed in a very southern spirit with its louvered doors and touches of yellow. The bathroom is also dressed in yellow with custom-made terracotta tiles made by the Versace workshop.
It is this same level – that of the terrace – that hosts the open kitchen where wood, travertine and lime rub shoulders.
Meals are shared on a 3-metre table specially created by the decorator, in hammered wrought iron and burnt wood in the Versailles style, enhanced by white linen chairs and silk suspensions.
Two lounges are available to the inhabitants: a living room-fireplace with its curly wool sofas (exclusive creation) and its framed window on Saint-Paul; or a TV lounge with its white Gervasoni linen sofas and its 4-meter bay window with a view.
Naturally, you can just as well have had your meal outside on the eastern part of the terrace and return to enjoy the evening lights in the garden...
Thus pass the bright days at the villa "Les Restanques" whose common point will be this view which definitely gives a unique charm to the place. Note: There is 200€ to give to the person who welcomes you, which is the cost of cleaning, bed linen and towels. For information on Thursdays the gardener takes care of the garden and on Friday morning there is the cleaning of the swimming pool.
