1 Bed/1 Bath near UMKC and The Plaza

The house it self worked for what I needed for my 2 month stay for an internship in Kansas city. I liked the location even though it wasn’t the best place in KC, I did feel like the street that it was on was well maintained and felt safe for a 20 something girl alone. There was also a lot of shopping and events within a 15min drive. The only really big downside with the property was the kitchen only offered a mini fridge, which was unfortunate for a 2 month stay. There were also about a count of 28 mirrors in the one bedroom house. My really big problem with my stay was that I tried contacting host on multiple accounts and was left with no actions taken when problems happened. The first time trying to do laundry I found that the dryer didn’t work well and had to dry all my clothes in small loads and twice most times. When I contacted about it I heard back from them that they were getting me a new washer! Then half way through my stay some animal got into the attic space above the apartment and when I texted the host they said they would do something about it, but the animal was still there on my last day. There also was problems with the lawn being mowed to the point when I was gone for a long weekend that the neighbour had to tell them to get it mowed. (P.s. the neighbor was so sweet)
