At the heart of the square stands a colorful fountain with a gnome statue, which has become a unique symbol of the city. The market square is also home to numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops where visitors can enjoy local delicacies or shop in the charming historical setting.
Importantly, Wrocław’s Market Square is not only a place for social gatherings and entertainment but also frequently hosts various cultural events, concerts, festivals, and fairs. It is a vibrant area at all times of the day, attracting both locals and tourists and immersing them in the magical atmosphere of the city’s rich history.
In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find many tourist attractions worth visiting, such as the National Forum of Music, Wrocław Opera, Museum of Architecture, Racławice Panorama Museum, Princes Lubomirski Museum, National Museum, and many others.
