The location is right in the middle of things. I'm very glad I chose the private room because the other beds have no privacy at all. Check in was easy and the outdoor shared spaces are nice enough.
The shower didn't drain and it was a little tricky to figure out the hot water. The WiFi was really slow sometimes or didn't work at all. The bed was on the firm side.

Mike, the owner, was excellent person and very helpful, he looked after everything and helped us anything that we needed it. The location was also excellent, although San Marcis is tiny, good hot shower
Wifi is a bit iffy, but this is geneal the case in San Marco with frequent power outages. Also there are yes for room and entrance but generally is open, this is mot issue for me but some people feel uneasy

Pretty nice hostel, it has a kitchen outside, fridge, and an area to hang out. It is pretty close to everything and you don't have to walk a lot from the boat dock or shuttles so its okay if you have a lot of baggage or if it is a suitcase with wheels it would be easy to get there.
