2 Blocks from the US Capitol

The location of this property is fantastic; it is very close to the Capitol and situated in a beautiful neighborhood. We visited during Easter weekend and enjoyed seeing the community festivities and the Easter egg hunt at the nearby park. The apartment itself is well-equipped: the high-quality washer and dryer were a significant plus; additionally, all of the appliances were in excellent condition. We did have an accident where a lamp in the bedroom was broken, but the host was helpful as we worked together to replace it with an identical model from IKEA.

The major downside of our stay was a persistent pet odor in the living room on the furniture and rug. I also ended up with several itchy bug bites on my legs and arms (which I suspect were fleas from the carpet). This unfortunately tarnished the experience; however, I have notified the host and am hopeful the unit will be thoroughly cleaned for the next guest.

The location exceeded my expectations as it's both close to the capital but also in a really historic neighbourhood. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance.

The flat doesn't have a great deal of natural light, but this is absolutely fine for a short stay and the interior lighting is plentiful and thoughtfully arranged.

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the amenities were complete – everything we needed was provided. The location was excellent and made it easy to reach many places. Check-in and check-out were smooth and well organized, and access to the property was simple and hassle-free. Overall, everything worked perfectly. We felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

The apartment was of a high standard with everything we needed. The security was excellent and the location area just around the corner from Capital senate & museum buildings, ideal for our sightseeing and not far from some great restaurants.
