Penelope's Guest House

The location was spectacular although access is not the easiest - roads are steep, rough and narrow up to the village but when you get there it is fantastic! The view over the wonderful mountains of central Greece is majestic. The hosts, Penelope and Kostas, are lovely friendly and helpful people. Breakfast was not included but on our second morning Penelope brought us delicious home made cheese pies.

Nothing - it was great value for money. The house was cosy and well equipped.

Η διαμονή μας στην Περιθιώτισσα ήταν πέρα για πέρα φανταστική. Η κυρία Πηνελόπη και ο κύριος Κώστας είναι άνθρωποι αυθεντικοί που σπανίζουν πια στις μέρες μας στο κομμάτι της φιλοξενίας. Το σπίτι πεντακάθαρο, ζεστό και είχε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν.

Everything from the first moment to the last was just perfection of famous greek hospitality. When we arrived the fire was burning in the the fireplace, and the house was just as warm as the welcoming of our hosts. The 10 points everybody left so far are well deserved, keep up the good work! Besides that i want to stay this place is just perfect if you want to have a quiet time in the nature, far away from virtually everything, but on the same time near enough to reach it on a weekend. The views of snow capped Vardoussia and Giona mountains you had from the village where also quite spectacular.

The hosts are so welcoming, we arrived at night and the fire was waiting for us. The place is looking much better in reality then photos, the kitchen is full for use. Recommend it very much.

The location is quite remote, just come with whatever you need and try to get before dark, high mountain roads. Very fun roads though
